At the beginning of 2011, I decided to broaden my horizons and try my hand at photographing weddings. Since I had only done a couple(for friends and what not) I would do 3 this year. I got TONS of responses but stuck to my guns and only accepted 3. Wedding photography is a specialty and takes ALLOT of work, so I knew what I needed to do but just didn’t know how to do it all. Ya dig? lol
So, when one of my childhood friends contacted me, I jumped at the opportunity. I’ve known Becky since we were in Elementary school(if that tells ya how old I am. Shh…) and was very excited to get with her about her upcoming wedding. The location was at the beautiful Aquarium in Manteo at the Outer Banks. The weather was not too nice so we were not able to have any Bridals done at the Lighthouse like we both had hoped for. But i do believe these photos are still very good! Backy adn Joey are the cutest and funniest couple I have met! They laugh and each other and pick on each other and you can tell that they are true soul mates.
I enjoyed every minute of this day and was honored I could capture it for them. Thank you, Becky and Joey, for giving me a chance and trusting in me!
